CANYON, Texas -

West Texas A&M men’s soccer players have been honored by the Southwest Soccer Conference for their efforts on the pitch this season, as the SSC announced it’s postseason awards on Wednesday afternoon.

On the first team for the Buffs were: Itamar Keinan (Senior, Kiryat Haim, Israel), Tommy Nutter (Senior, Berkshire, England), Oliver Mulamba (Senior, Albertson, South Africa) and Ben Everson (Sophomore, Middlesbrough England).Everson was also honored as the Offensive Player of the Year.

Everson led the Buffs in most offensive categories this season, including goals (13), total points (28), and shots on goal (37). The Middlesbrough, England native didn’t disappoint this season after being named the Preseason Player of the Year by the SSC.

On the second team for WT was: Nicki Nielsen (Freshman, Oelholm, Denmark), Victor Olivares (Junior, Juarez, Mexico) and Jacob Fynboe Jensen (Junior, Horsens Denmark).
