CANYON, Texas - West Texas A&M senior midfielder Jacob Fynboe Jensen (Horsens, Denmark) has been named to the COSIDA/ESPN The Magazine District 6 All-Academic First Team announced on Friday afternoon.

The Horsens, Denmark native is a Finance major at West Texas A&M and currently holds a 3.93 grade point average. This is not the first time Jensen has been recognized for his efforts in the classroom, he has been named to the COSIDA/ESPN The Magazine All-Academic team for the last three season.

This season, Jensen has scored two goals and added four assists for a total of eight points. His 30 career assists is tops in the WT records books along with first all-time in the Lone Star Conference.

The #5 Buffs are currently 13-1-2 overall this season with a 3-0-2 mark in the LSC, they are currently sitting atop the South Central Region polls and are tied for the LSC regular season title with rival #10 Midwestern State who WT has tied both times this season.

WT will end their regular season on Nov. 8 as they travel to Tahlequah, Oklahoma to face off with Northeastern State with kickoff set for 12:00 p.m. A WT win clinches at least a share of the LSC Championship.
