LAREDO, Texas - Sophomore Jacob Fynboe Jensen headed the ball just inside the near post off of a corner kick from junior Tommy Nutter in the fifth minute to give the West Texas A&M men's soccer team a 1-0 victory over Texas A&M International on Sunday afternoon, improving to 14-2 on the season.

The match was a physical one, as the Buffs were called for 28 fouls and the Dustdevils were called for 15.

WTAMU took five shots on goal - Jensen and Nutter took two apiece and Oliver Mulamba took one - while TAMIU took only three; freshman goalkeeper Shane Taylor made three saves in 90:00 minutes of play.

The Buffs are next in action when they travel to San Antonio to face the St. Mary's Rattlers on Tuesday at 1 p.m.
