TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -

The West Texas A&M men’s soccer team concluded their three week road trip on Sunday afternoon, as they defeated Northeastern State, 3-0, in front of 100 fans in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Ben Everson (Sophomore, Middlesbrough, England) started off the WT scoring in the 26:00 minute off a pass from Tommy Nutter (Senior, Berkshire, England), followed by Itamar Keinan (Senior, Kiryat Haim, Israel) putting the Buffs up 2-0 in the 40:00 minute off an assist from Jacob Fynboe Jensen (Junior, Horsens, Denmark).

The WT defense played well the entire match as Sebastian Furness (Freshman, Middlesbrough, England) picked up the win in goal for the Buffs, tallying two saves on five RiverHawk shots.

Nutter finished up the scoring in the 73:00 minute off a pass from John Cox (Freshman, Amarillo, Texas) to give the Buffs a 3-0 victory.

The Buffs return to action as they host Eastern New Mexico on Nov. 5, with kickoff scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Followed on Nov. 9 as they wrap up the regular season against #1 Midwestern State on senior day at The Pitch. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
