JOPLIN, Missouri - The West Texas A&M Buffs continued their three week long road trip on Friday night, as they defeated Missouri Southern, 4-1, in front of 75 fans in Joplin, Missouri. The win improves WT to 9-5 overall with a 3-2 mark in the Southwest Soccer Conference.

The Buffs fell behind early in the match, of a Lion goal in the 12:00 minute, but answered quickly as Tommy Nutter (Senioe, Berkshire, England) scored on a free kick to tie up the game at 1-1.

The rest of the match was dominated by WT, as Brad Williamson (Junior, Amarillo, Texas) scored in the 55:00 minute, followed by two goals by Victor Olivares (Junior, Juarez, Mexico) to give the Buffaloes the 4-1 win.

Sebastian Furness (Freshman, Middlesbrough, England) picked up the win in goal for the Buffs, tallying one save on four Missouri Southern shots.

The Buffs return to action on Oct. 26 as they travel to face Northeastern State, kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
