CANYON, Texas - With just over 12 and half minutes to go in regulation, the West Texas A&M men's soccer team tied the game at 2-2 after falling behind early to Northeastern State. However, two overtimes later there could not be a winner as the match ended 2-2 in Southwest Soccer Conference action on Sunday.

Northeastern State's Chance Foutch found the back of the net one minute into contest to give the Redmen an early advantage. The match would stay that way until right before intermission, when Northeastern State pulled up by two on a shot by Sean Hughes.

After the break, freshman Daniel Bulley (Exeter, England) scored his fifth goal of the season, on an assists from sophomore Tommy Nutter (Bershire, England). To even the match up in the 77th minute, sophomore Espanho Da Costa (Luanda, Angola) scored his second career WTAMU goal on a feed from freshman Jacob Jensen (Horseus, Denmark).

After the two early goals by Northeastern State, WTAMU freshman goalkeeper JJ Craddock (Amarillo, Texas) made two saves. The Northeastern keeper Ransone Rose made nine saves, including four in the second half and two in the first overtime.

With the tie the Buffaloes move to 3-1-3 and 1-1-1 in SSC play, while Northeastern State goes to 5-1-2 and 2-0-1 in the conference. WTAMU will be back in action at home on Wednesday, Sept. 21, against Eastern New Mexico at 7 p.m
