2009: Taylor tallied a total of 14 saves (0.824 avg.) between the pipes allowing only three goals (0.70 avg.) and carried a 3-1 record on the season. Two of Taylor's three wins were shutouts on Aug. 27 against St. Edward's and on Aug. 30 against UT-Permian Basin. Taylor has posted 77 saves so far in his career and clinches fourth in the Top 10 most career saves in program history. Taylor was named to the LSC all-Academic team for his efforts in the classroom. 2008: Taylor saw limited time on field (three games), but recorded six saves and held a record of 1-0 for the season. 2007: Taylor became the go to guy between the pipes for the Buffs in 2007, seeing action in all 20 matches. He tallied a program record nine shutouts, allowing just 13 goals (0.72 avg.) and making 53 saves (.803 percentage). His save count places his name eighth in WT history. Taylor's most impressive match came against #7 Midwestern State on Nov. 4 as he tallied six saves in a 1-0 victory to clinch a share of the SSC Championship with the Mustangs. For his efforts on the pitch, Taylor was recognized as a member of the All-SSC second team. High School: Graduated from Keller HS (Texas). He captained the Indians as a senior, and was named honorable mention all-district as a junior and as a senior, and Newcomer of the Year as a junior. Taylor recorded 13 shutouts during his junior and senior seasons, combined. Personal: Taylor is the son of Keith and Jody Taylor, and has three siblings: Jason, Stacy, and Seth.
