2009: García saw time in ten contests during his rookie season, but made the most of his time on the field knocking four goals into the back of the net for a total of eight points. García took six of eight shots on goal for a shot on goal percentage of .750. García scored a pair of consecutive goals in the 27th and 34th minute in the Buffs Sept. 13 victory against UT-Permian Basin.

High School: García was named all-District in his senior year, leading his team to a record of 19-4. He also graduated in the top ten percent of his class and was a member of Achievement through Commitment to Education Scholarship Program (ACE).

Personal: García is the son of Manuel and Leticia Garcia and has two siblings, Esmeralda and Rubi. García is a Business major with a minor in Engineering at WTAMU.
