2009: After suffering a season ending knee injury during the 2008 preseason, Bjostad returned to the pitch starting in all 19 matches. During his comeback season, Bjostad announced his return by scoring four goals and one assist for a total of nine points. Bjostad took a total of 27 shots, with 13 being on goal, for a shot on goal percentage of .481. Two of Bjostad's goals were game winning. Bjostad scored a pair of goals in the Buffs, 7-1, victory over UT-Permian Basin. Bjostad's efforts on the pitch culminated in him being named to the all-LSC first team.

2008: Suffered season ending knee injury during preseason.

2007: Bjostad saw time in 12 matches for the Buffs as a true freshman. His first career assists came against Colorado School of Mines on Oct. 5 in a 5-2 victory. Bjostad also recorded the assists on the game-winning goal of the NCAA Midwest Regional Semifinal against Fort Lewis along with teammate Jacob Fynboe Jensen on a goal by Itamar Keinan.

High School: Graduated in the top ten percent of his class from Keller (Texas) HS while enrolled in all AP core curriculum. Bjostad was named captain and first team all-district as a senior. He helped the Indians finish 14-7-3 and was the co-leader in goals (9) during his senior season. Bjostad also earned two varsity letter in football and was named second team all-district as a wide receiver his senior year.

Personal: Bjostad is the son of Peter Bjostad and Michelle Williams, and has four siblings: Jordan, Blake, Luke and Grant. Bjostad is a Mechanical Engineering major at WT.
