Three West Texas A&M University golfers received Academic Lone Star Conference honors, the conference office announced.

Easley, an Amarillo, Texas native, has a 3.547 GPA as a social studies/social science major. Nussbaum, also an Amarillo, Texas native, has a 3.667 GPA as a marketing major. Nussbaum, WTAMU's No. 3 golfer, finished 22nd at the LSC Championships, helping the Lady Buffs to a fourth-place finish.

He finished 38th at the LSC Championships, helping WTAMU to a sixth-place finish and a spot in the NCAA-II South Central Regional as a team for the first time in school history. Washburn tied for 22nd-place at the Regional, as the Buffs finished tied for third in the team standings.
