SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The West Texas A&M University men's golf team finished tied for eighth-place at the Deerfield Inn/Drury Golf Invitational at Springfield, Mo., at Highland Springs Country Club.

Senior Josh Duckworth was the top finisher for WTAMU, carding a 152.

As a team, the Buffs shot a 625, tying Central Arkansas for eighth-place. Central Oklahoma claimed the team title with a 596.

Individually, Luke Antonelli from St. Mary's captured medalist honors, shooting a 141, six strokes ahead of the pack.

This was WTAMU's final meet of the fall and will resume the season in the spring.
