Junior Joshua Luongo leads a trio of West Texas A&M University men's golf players in the Top 20 after the first day of action at the Northeastern State University Men's Golf Classic, at Muskogee Country Club at Muskogee, Okla.

Play was suspended in the second round due to darkness with 24 players yet to complete the second round. Play will resume at 8 a.m. Tuesday.

The Buffs are tied for third with Missouri Southern State University, with a 291, six strokes behind host Northeastern State's 285.

Luongo is in a three-way tied for sixth-place, carding an even 71. Northeastern State's Eric Moore and Missouri Southern's Andrew Watts are atop the leader board with a four-under 67.

Senior Josh Duckworth and junior Chris Washburn are one shot behind Luongo with a 72, and part of a six-player cluster for ninth-place.
