The West Texas A&M University men's golf team is in fourth place after the first day of play at the Oklahoma Intercollegiate Tournament, hosted by Cameron University.

Senior Josh Duckworth leads the Buffs, carding a 142 to be in a five-way tie for third place.

WTAMU shot a 581, and trails leader Southwestern Oklahoma (561), Central Oklahoma (568) and host Cameron (573).

Freshman James Dillingham shot a 144, including a varsity-best first-round of 69. He was followed by junior Chris Washburn (148), senior Jimmy Jameson (150) and junior Joshua Luongo. Junior Josiah Stutheit (145) and sophomore Preston Snider (155) are competing individually.
