Final Stats

DUNCAN, Okla. – Johnny McMillen (Jr., Armagh, Northern Ireland) finished in a tie for ninth-place to lead the West Texas A&M men's golf team to an eighth-place finish at the Territory Collegiate Classic at the Territory Country Club in Duncan, Okla.

WTAMU shot a 295 Tuesday, as the Buffs jumped two spots from Monday, finishing with a combined 601 (306-295). Dallas Baptist took top team honors after a playoff against St. Edwards, shooting 578 (291-287).

Individually, Abilene Christian’s Alex Carpenter was the top finisher with a 140 (74-66).

For the Buffs, Dustin Nelson (Jr., Cleburne, Texas) tied for 20th with a 149 (76, 73), while Jesse Ely was tied for 29th with a 150 (76-74). Colin Cruz (Jr., Amarillo, Texas) carded a 156 (80-76) to finish in a tie for 58th. Nick Hagan shot 176 (83-93) to place 91st.

The Buffs will be back on the fairway, Monday, September 28th, at Bruce Williams Memorial Intercollegiate in San Antonio, Texas.
