AMARILLO, Texas -- Senior Kent Neal (71-69-78 = 218) took first place, individually, for the West Texas A&M men's golf team, which finished in the second spot as it hosted the WTAMU Men's Invitational at La Paloma Golf Club Tuesday. After shooting 294 and 296 to begin the weekend, the Buffs shot a 308 in the final round to finish behind tournament winner Western New Mexico University by eight strokes.

Junior Jon Musser (74-74-73 = 221) tallied three more strokes than Neal for a third place finish, while senior Spud Dillingham (75-76-77 = 228) added a stroke every round for a finish in 10th place.
