INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - West Texas A&M fell to fourth in the NCAA Super Region Four poll, as released by the NCAA Monday. The Buffs' fell to current top-seed Abilene Christian, 52-35, last Saturday and are currently 7-1 overall, with a 6-1 Division II record.

Each of the top six teams in the final regional poll of the season will advance to the NCAA Division II football playoffs, with the top two seeded teams in each region receiving a first-round bye.

The LCS boasts five teams in the 10-team poll, while the MIAA (Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association) has four teams represented. Other Lone Star Conference-member institutions listed in the rankings are Abilene Christian (No. 1), Tarleton State (No. 7), Midwestern State (No. 8) and Texas A&M-Kingsville (No. 9).

Slotted between ACU and WT in the Super Regional Four poll are Northwest Missouri State (No. 2) and Pittsburg State (No. 3). WT is fourth, followed by Central Missouri (No. 5), Central Washington (No. 6), Tarleton State (No. 7), Midwestern State (No. 8), Texas A&M-Kingsville (No. 9) and Washburn (No. 10).

The Buffs travel to San Angelo, Texas to face Angelo State this Saturday, Oct. 25, at San Angelo Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
