HIGH SCHOOL: Wesley played offensive tackle and defensive end while at Canyon (Texas) HS. He was an all-District 3-4A selection in both his junior and senior years under Coach Bill Bryant. An Academic all-State pick in football, Wesley was a superintendent scholar and a two-year member of the National Honor Society. He was a three-year letterwinner in track & field, placing first at district and advancing as a regional qualifier.
