GENERAL: This local product heads into his senior year with two years of game experience to the Buffs' linebacking unit.

2008: Peoples saw action in two games, registering two tackles (one solo, one assisted) against Azusa Pacific and making one solo stop against Tarleton State.

2007: Peterson saw action in six contests, registering eight tackles (three solo, five assisted) and one for minus-two yards in losses. He also was credited with one quarterback hurry.

2006: Redshirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Peterson is a 2006 graduate of Amarillo (Texas) Tascosa HS, where he was a linebacker for the Rebels. He captained the football team his senior year and also lettered in track & field. Peterson won the Tascosa Top-Ten award and the Delta Sigma Theta Youth Group Highest GPA award, was a member of the National Honor Roll and was honored with Who's Who Among American High School Students recognition.

MAJOR: Peterson is a Management major at WTAMU.
