General: After gaining valuable game-experience a year ago, Hicks will be looking to provide depth at the Buff's quarterbacking position.

2008:Hicks saw action in three contests, seeing action against Midwestern State, Abilene Christian and Northeastern State.During that NSU contest, hecompleted one-of-two passes for 50 yards.

2007: Redshirt season.

High School: Hicks was an offensive Most Valuable Player and all-District 25-3A selection as a senior at both safety and quarterback. He tallied 5,313 passing yards, 682 rushing yards and 64 TDs in two years as a Bulldog. He was named all-Region as a quarterback while also lettering in soccer, basketball, track & field and golf. Hicks was named all-District first team in soccer. He graduated in the top 10-percent of his class and was a member of the national Honor Society and was Key Club president.

Major: Hicks is majoring in Sports & Exercise Science at WTAMU.
