Buffs Fall at Abilene Christian, 62-61 Abilene, Texas -The West Texas A&M Buffaloes entered Saturday night's game at Abilene Christian knowing that a win would guarantee them a berth in the Lone Star Conference postseason tournament. However, a 62-61 loss at ACU's Moody Coliseum, combined with Tarleton State's 70-65 upset win over Angelo State, brought an end to the Buffaloes' season, as they fall into fifth place in the LSC South race. Buffs Keep Playoff Hopes Alive with 64-55 Win over Texas A&M-Kingsville CANYON, Texas - Bijan Dotson scored a career-high 21 points to lift the West Texas A&M Buffaloes, fighting for a berth in the Lone Star Conference tournament, defeated Texas A&M-Kingsville, 64-55, Saturday night at the First United Bank Center. The win lifts WTAMU to 16-10 overall, 6-5 LSC South, while Texas A&M-Kingsville falls to 17-8, 7-3 in LSC South action. The Buffs entered the game knotted with Tarleton State for fourth place in the LSC South, while TAMU-K was in a three-way tie for first in the LSC South. With Tarleton State being idle, the Buffs have a one-half game lead over the Texans in the battle for the division's final playoff berth.
