CANYON, Texas - West Texas A&M men's basketball head coach Rick Cooper has announced the addition of Kevin Green to the incoming recruiting class which will take the court for the Buffs during the upcoming 2006-07 season.

Green, a 6-0 guard from Philadelphia, Pa., will be a senior for WTAMU after playing last season at Florida Atlantic University where he started 15 contests and averaged 5.7 points per game. Green was impressive from three-point range, as he connected on 38-of-88 attempts to finish second on FAU with a .432 shooting percentage from long distance.

Prior to transferring to Florida Atlantic, Green played one season at Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, Fla., where he garnered second team all-conference honors after shooting .470 percent from three point range. As a freshman, Green earned second team all-conference honors and all-freshman team honors while attending Brevard College.
