CANYON, Texas - The Show-Me State will welcome both West Texas A&M men's and women's basketball teams starting Friday, March 9, for the NCAA South Central Regional Tournament. The No. 2 seeded Lady Buffs will play the seventh seed Northwest Missouri State Bearcats in the first round on Friday in St. Joseph, Mo., while the sixth seeded Buffs will play No. 3 seed Midwestern State in Warrensburg, Mo., on Saturday.

This is the second time in as many years for Buffs to make the NCAA Tournament, and this will the second time in three weeks WTAMU will play Midwestern State. The Lady Buffs meanwhile make the South Central Regional for the third straight year, and it will be the first time since 2004 WTAMU has played Northwest Missouri.
