LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- The West Texas A&M University men's basketball was beaten by 21st-ranked Cal State San Bernardino, 76-55, Saturday, at the High Desert Classic at Las Vegas, Nev.

The Buffs dropped their third-straight game and fifth of their last six, falling to 3-6 overall. Saturday's game was WTAMU's third in the last five games against a top 25 team and the Buffs' fifth in their last six against an undefeated team.

CSUSB, ranked No. 21 in the ABCA, improved to 6-0.

Despite committing fewer turnovers than the opponents for just the second time this season, as WTAMU committed 16 turnovers compared to 20 for CSUSB, the Buffs shot a paltry, season-low 25.5 percent (12-47) from the field.

Senior forward Jamil Terrell led WTAMU with his fifth double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds, as well as two blocks.

Senior guard Carl Lamb added 11 points and three assists off the bench.

CSUSB had five players in double-figures, led by 16 points apiece from James Perkins and Trenell Eddings.

The Buffs return to the court on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. Pacific Time (6:30 Central Time) against #25 Pittsburg State, who improved to 8-0 after defeating Eastern New Mexico, 83-63, Saturday.
