LAS VEGAS, N.M. - The No.22 West Texas A&M men's basketball team were winners on the road Monday night over New Mexico Highlands, 83-64.

The Buffs shot 66 percent from the field on Monday, and were led by senior Damien Lolar, who scored 23 points and pulled down six rebounds. Junior Mike Baskerville followed Lolar up with 15 points, while classmate Tyler Cooper chipped in with a season-high 14 points.

WTAMU improves to 2-3 on the season, and will be back in action Thursday against Cameron; tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. at the First United Bank Center.
