GENERAL - This physical forward comes to West Texas A&M from the very successful Midland College program.

JUNIOR COLLEGE - Tubb sat out the 2008-09 season as a redshirt at Midland (Texas) College. While there, he was a member of the squad that was runner-up in the NCAAA National tournament.

HIGH SCHOOL - Tubb attended Grady (Lenorah, Texas) HS. While playing for coach Shawn Harrison's Wildcats, he averaged 20 points and 11 rebounds to help lead the team to a 22-3 recrod. He was selected TABC first team all-State, all-Region and was District 8-1A Most Valuable Player. A football letterwinner, as well, he was selected as Texas Six-Man Player of the Year, while also being honored as Class of 2008 Valedictorian.

PERSONAL - Tubb is majoring in Pre-Mechanical Engineering at WTAMU. He is the son of Rhonda and Johnny Tubb of Lenorah, Texas.
