General:The hard-working Thornberry will be looking for playing time this season in the Buffaloes' guard rotation.

2007-08: Thornberry saw action in eight contests, averaging 3.0 minutes per outing. He made a lone field goal at New Mexico Highlands, and was 1-of-2 from the line in that same contest. He grabbed a season-high four rebounds against Southeastern Oklahoma, while dishing a pair of assists against Western State.

2006-07: Thornberry redshirted during the 2006-07 season.

High School: Thornberry was a standout for the Clarendon (Texas) HS Broncos, where he was a four-year point guard on the varsity squad. He was selected preseason all-State in both football and basketball, in addition to garnering all-District honors for his efforts on the hardwood. Thornberry earned varsity monograms in football, golf, track & field, tennis and baseball.

Personal: Thornberry is the son of Judy and Lance Thornberry. He is majoring in Business Management while at WTAMU.
