General: This local product transfers to WTAMU after spending his freshman season at the University of Arkansas-Monticello.

Previous Four Year School: Johnson saw action in 23 contests with Arkansas-Monticello and made eight starting appearances. During 2007-08, he averaged 16.0 minutes, 4.4 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest. His benchmark came in the Boll Weevils early-season game at Texas, when he tallied 18 points to go with six rebounds.

High School: Johnson earned multiple honors as a big guard/small forward at Amarillo (Texas) Palo Duro HS. He averaged 24 points, five rebounds and five assists per outing as a senior. Among his accolades were all-District 3-4A, District MVP and all-State honors.

Personal: Johnson is the son of Elaine Johnson. He is majoring in Criminal Justice while at WTAMU.
