General: Fuller encountered a setback in 2007-09 after suffering a preseason injury which delayed his initial appearance until the start of Lone Star Conference play. Now fully recovered, he looks to begin the 2008-09 campaign having gained the confidence of having played the majority of the collegiate season. 2007-08: Fuller made his first appearance of the season on Dec. 6, against Central Oklahoma. Once on the court, he provided an immediate lift for the Buffs, as he contributed a season-high 11 points and four rebounds. Fuller recorded his second double-figure scoring night of his Buff career on Jan. 5, registering 10 points against East Central. For the year, he averaged 2.6 points and 1.1 rebounds over 6.1 minutes per contest. Junior College: Fuller was a two-sport athlete at Brunswick, Ga., Coastal Georgia Junior College, splitting his time between basketball and track. He won the City and Regional Championships in track, and was named the MVP of the basketball team. Fuller finished with 257 total points (14 ppg), placing second on the NJCAA leader board, making 72 pct. of his free throws (3rd in the NJCAA), 53 pct. of his field goals (4th in the NJCAA) and 34 pct. of his three-pointers. Additionally, he recorded 50 assists and 37 steals. Frederick Douglass High School: Fuller played guard for the Atlanta (Ga.) Frederick Douglass Astros, helping to lead them to the Elite Eight. He was also honored with the Coca Cola Outstanding Performance Award. A standout track & field performer, Fuller was a Regional and State champion in the long jump, as well as being a three-time City champion in the event.
