CANYON, Texas - Coming off of one of the most successful season in years, West Texas A&M head baseball coach Matt Vanderburg has released the Buff's 2010 schedule.

Vanderburg enters his second season at the helm of the Buffs, he guided them to a school record four game win-streak to start the 2009 season. The Buffs finished last season 20-33 overall with a 13-29 mark in the Lone Star Conference.

The 2010 schedule has the Buffs hitting the road for the first five games of the season against Howard Payne, McMurry University and the University of the Southwest. The Buffs begin Lone Star Conference play against East Central on Feb. 12 in the home opener.

The Buffs hit the diamond on Feb. 6 as they travel to Brownwood, Texas to face off with Howard Payne in doubleheader action set to start at 1:00 p.m. CST.
