CANYON, Texas – Buff baseball standout Rob Mann (JR, Duncanville,Texas) has been named to the ABCA/Rawlings All-South Central Region first team announced Monday afternoon.

During his first season in Canyon, Mann led the team in batting average (.419), hits (75), doubles (18), home runs (12) and RBI (61). Mann became one of the most feared hitters in the Lone Star Conference this season, as he moved into the cleanup spot in the Buffalo batting order as well as becoming the everyday first baseman.

The Buffs finished the season 20-33 overall with a 13-29 mark in the LSC during the first season of the resurgence of the program under head coach Matt Vanderburg.
