CANYON, Texas - The West Texas A&M baseball team will take to the field this weekend against Lone Star Conference rival Cameron in a four-game series at Connor Park. The Buffs will play a pair of double-headers against the Aggies beginning on Saturday at 2 p.m.

The series will continue on Sunday when the teams return to the diamond at 1 p.m. The series was originally scheduled to be played over a three day period, but due to a forecast of inclement weather, Fridays' game was moved to Sunday afternoon.

The wayward Buffs will look to end the team's fourteen-game slide into the basement of the Lone Star Conference by coming away with a few wins over the weekend. The series history between the two has been a tightly contested one, with each team holding 11 wins in 22 previous meetings.

The Buffs have played nine of their last 10 games on the road and will look for this home stand to breath a little life into the remainder of the season. WT will play 14 of the team's next 18 games in Canyon.
