CANYON, Texas - The West Texas A&M baseball doubleheader against College of the Southwest has been postponed from Tuesday to Wednesday due to the high winds in the Hobbs, New Mexico area.

First year head coach Matt Vanderburg has the Buffs off to one of the best starts in WT history, as a sweep of Sul Ross this past weekend put the Buffs at 3-0.

"I thought we hit the ball extremely well all weekend" said Vanderburg, "The goal of any team this early in the season is to improve as the games go by, and I think that's what we're doing."

WT and College of the Southwest will hit the diamond on Wednesday with the first pitch scheduled for 1:00 p.m. CST.
