After completing a successful four year career in May, Brandon Wright will join Mark Jones on his staff as a graduate assistant.

During his playing career, Wright's primary role was as a relief pitcher. He finished his career with the third most appearances in school history (65). Wright broke the single season record for appearances last year with 24.

Coming out of the bullpen 23 times last season, Wright, held a 5-2 record with one save. The Amarillo native also helped lead the Buffaloes into their first post season appearance, with an LSC Tournament berth.

Wright completed his bachelor's degree in sports and exercise science in December and began pursuing his masters degree in sports and exercise science in January.

Wright's primary duties include, working with the pitchers, everyday work and recruiting.
