2008: Parsons appeared in 36 games in the outfield for the Buffaloes in 2008, including four games on the mound. At the plate, Parsons hit .254 with 23 RBI's, nine doubles, and seven home runs. During his 3.2 innings of work on the mound, Parsons allowed six runs, gave up four walks, and struck out two batters.

Junior College: Parsons graduated from Western Texas Junior College (Texas) in 2008 and played outfield and pitched for the Westerners. Parson earned his associate's degree in Business in 2007.
