2008: Head made 12 appearances on the mound for the Buffs in 2008, starting one contest. He tallied a 17.4 ERA with 11 strikeouts and 25 walks. In his lone start of the season, Head struck out four Pioneer batters in two innings of work against Wayland Baptist on March 25.

Junior College: Attended Howard Junior College (Texas) in 2007, playing in the outfield for the Hawks under head coach Britt Smith.

High School: Head graduated from Grapevine HS (Texas) and played third base and pitched for the Mustangs. He captained the team as a senior and was a Texas Scholar.

Major: Head is a Biology major at WTAMU.
