Benino Gonzales joins the Buff coaching staff as a student assistant after a two-year playing career at WTAMU. As the primary catcher, Gonzales, a Lubbock, Texas native, led the Buffs with 99 career appearences. Gonzales was rewared for his efforts behind the plate by receiving All-LSC recognition both seasons.
