2014: Played in all 58 games with 56 starts in the outfield for the Buffs...Was  second on the team in average at a .383 clip...Led the team with 85 hits and 14 doubles...Had three triples with four home runs while tying for the lead in RBI with 47...Scored 50 runs which was second on the team...Slugged .527 which was second on the team and reached base at a .442 average...Had 91 putouts in 99 chances with two assists...Named first team all-conference...His 85 hits were 13th nationally and tops in the LSC...Had 117 total bases which was 39th nationally and also tops in the LSC...Led t he team with 30 multiple hit games.

Grand Canyon: Played two years at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona...Saw action in 34 games, getting the starting nod 23 times...Hit .232 (22-for-95) with five doubles, a triple and 12 RBI as a freshman...Played in 32 games with 12 starts...Had 13 hits with four doubles and three RBI...Had 20 put outs and two assists in 22 chances.

Sabino High School: Earned all-state honors as a centerfield and helped lead his team to the semfinals.

Personal: Born June 28, 1993...Parents are Mike and Lori Champan...Has two siblings Faith and Erin...Plans on majoring in general studies at WT.
