Sophomore (2014-15)

    Cross Country: Baca placed 18th in his first race of the season, running 29:06.1 in the Wagon Wheel Dual (8K). He followed up with a first place showing in the 3K run at the WTAMU Buffalo Stampede, crossing the line at 9:48.00.

Freshman (2013-14)

    Cross Country: Made his WT debut at the Wagonwheel Dual (8K) where he placed 17th with a time of 29:22.16.

    Track & Field: Baca scored in both the 800m (sixth) and DMR (fifth) at the LSC Indoor Championship, helping the Buffs to its first conference title in program history. He also finished eighth at the LSC Outdoor Championship in the 800m. His PRs during the season included 52.62 (400m), 1:25.37 (600m) and 1:54.52 (800m). Baca placed in the top-eight on nine different occasions during 2014. Additionally, he helped lead the 4x800m relay team to an outdoor school record performance with a time of 7:52.94 at the Texas Relays.

High School: Graduated from Muleshoe High School in 2013. Participated in basketball, football, cross country and track and field. Competed in the State Championship in track his sophomore, junior and senior seasons while winning the State Championship in the 800m with a time 1:54.6. Semi-finalist in football his junior year.

Personal: Born August 28, 1995. Son of Frank and Elisa Baca. Has two brothers Issac (19) and AJ Flores (28) and one sister Breann (21). Majoring in nursing at West Texas A&M.
