Biography

Career:  Competed in 76 games with 43 starts, scoring 20 goals, four being game-winners, and adding two assists for 42 points. 52 of her 93 shots have been shots-on-goal, good for a .559 SOG percentage. Has played a total of 4,610 minutes for the Lady Buffs. Thomas finished her WT career ninth on the all-time goal scoring list with 20.

2014: Thomas played in 16 games while starting 14 for the Lady Buffs at forward during her senior season. She tallied five goals on the year, second most on the team, with one them being a game-winner, and added one assist for 11 total points. Played nearly 1,300 minutes on the pitch and recorded a team-high 33 shots and 20 shots-on-goal for a .606 SOG%. Thomas scored the game-winner in WT's final game of the season, a 1-0 victory over Texas Woman's. She was named LSC Honorable Mention All-Conference and LSC Academic All-Conference.

2013: Played in all 20 games with 17 starts. Led the Lady Buffs with eight goals, including two game-winners, and one assist for 17 points this season as a junior. Ranked second in the LSC for goals and fourth for points. Registered 1,534 minutes and owned a .534 SOG percentage this year while also having three multi-goal games. Scored both goals in a 2-0 victory at UTPB. Propelled the team into the LSC Tournament with three goals in two wins in the final two regular season games. Tallied two goals and one assist in the Lone Star Conference Tournament where she was named to the LSC All-Tournament team. For the season, tallied 35 shots, placing 19 of them on target. Also named CoSIDA First-Team Academic All-District, Daktronics First-Team All-Region and chosen as the LSC Offensive Player of the Week on Nov. 6.

2012: Played in 21 games while starting 5 as a sophomore. Scored four goals while taking 15 shots, 9 on goal. Scored the only WT goal on the loss against Incarnate Word. 

2011: Played in 19 games and started seven as a true freshman.  Tallied three goals on 10 shots with four shots on goal.  Scored her first goal in her first collegiate game versus Texas-Permian Basin in the 2011 season-opener.  Helped lead the Lady Buffs to a 2-1 win over Midwestern State for her secodn collegiate goal.

High School: Prepped at Anna High School in Anna, Texas, where she played multiple sports earning Most Valuable Player and Pack Pride Award.  She earned the History Award, along with Theater Arts Award.

Personal: Daughter of Jan Thomas and has six siblings with three brothers and three sisters. Majoring in Health Sciences at West Texas A&M.
