Biography
Career: Appeared in 69 matches with 63 starts in 4,470 in minutes of action. Scored 12 goals, including three game-winners, and six assists for 30 career points. Taken 75 shots with 38 of those being on target.
2015: Saw action in 11 matches with 11 starts before going down with a knee injury. Recorded one assist, 16 shots and seven shots on goal.
2014: In her junior season, Krenek started all 18 matches for the Lady Buffs and led the team in scoring with six goals and 12 points on the season. She played tallied two game-winners on the year and had two-goal performances in wins over UT-Permian Basin and Southern Nazarene at home. Krenek played 1,291 minutes on the pitch and totaled 25 shots, placing 15 of them on target. She was a Daktronics First-Team All-Region, LSC Academic All-Conference, and CoSIDA Capitol One Academic First-Team All-District selection.
2013: Started 18 matches while playing in all 20 as a sophomore and logged 1,394 minutes on the pitch. Scored two goals, including one game-winner, and tallied two assists this season while forcing 17 shots and six shots-on-goal. Scored the game-winner in a crucial match against Texas A&M-Commerce before the end of the season to help propel the Lady Buffs into the LSC tournmanet. Assisted on the go-ahead goal in the LSC title game with just under four minutes left in regulation. Named to the 2013 LSC All-Academic Team and Daktronics Second-Team All-Region.
2012: As a true freshman, she played in 20 games while starting in 16 in 1,254 minutes of action. Recorded 4 goals and 3 assists for the season. She was third on the team with 11 points. Scored the game-winning goal against Abilene Christian. Took 17 shots with 10 on goal. Was named to the LSC All- Conference Second Team.
High School: Krenek prepped at Belton High School where she played for head coach Barry Elkins. She earned honorable mention and first team all-district honors for two years. As a senior, she was a team captain and was the MVP. She graduated in the top 10 percent of her class.
Personal: Daughter of Michael and Tanna Krenek. Has two siblings, Kaylee and Madison. Plans on majoring in physical therapy at West Texas A&M.
