CANYON, Texas – The NCAA Division II Men's Basketball South Central Regional schedule has been announced by West Texas A&M as the top-seed and host of the upcoming regional, beginning Saturday, Mar. 10, 2018, in the First United Bank Center.
The tournament kicks off with (No.3-seed) Regis battling (No. 6-seed) Dallas Baptist at 12 p.m., followed by (No. 2-seed) UT Permian Basin against (No. 7-seed) Arkansas-Fort Smith at 2:30 p.m. Top-seeded WT will battle (No. 8-seed) Colorado School of Mines at 6 p.m. and (No. 4-seed) Fort Lewis faces (No. 5-seed) Texas A&M-Commerce at 8:30 p.m.
Sunday's semifinal round will begin at 5 p.m. with the winner of the Regis/Dallas Baptist game facing the winner of UTPB/UAFS, followed at 7:30 p.m. by the WT/CSM winner against the FLC/TAMUC winner. Tuesday's championship game will be at 7 p.m.
Tickets for the regional will go on sale Wednesday at 12 p.m. CT to the general public as courtside/baseline/box seating will be $15 per session, while reserved chairback seats are $10. General admission (5 yrs.-up) are $5 and students with ID are $4.
