Home of Buffalo Football and Buff & Lady Buff Soccer

The second largest stadium in NCAA Division II, Kimbrough Memorial Stadium has a seating capacity of 20,000 and has stood as a symbol of pride for West Texas A&M University fans since 1959.

A new synthetic granular-infilled playing surface was installed during the summer of 2003 at a cost of $750,000. The new surface is soccer-friendly and has enabled the facility to host events in addition to football.

The stadium also hosts high school football and soccer games, band competitions and a variety of other events.

First United Bank Center
Home of Buff & Lady Buff Basketball
The First United Bank Center opened on January 26, 2002 to a capacity crowd of over 5,000 who jammed into the arena for the inaugural basketball games. Featuring a state-of-the-art sound system and scoreboard with a large video screen, the 75,000 square foot building is the place to be for exciting Lone Star Conference basketball.  A wall-to-wall, all-wooden playing floor was also installed prior to the 2008-09 basketball season.

The arena hosts WTAMU graduation, concerts, high school basketball playoffs and other events. The 2002 NCAA Division II National Championship Volleyball tournament was also held in the center.

Bill Cosby, Willie Nelson, Pat Green, Martina McBride, Buddy Jewell, Merle Haggard and the superstars of World Wrestling Entertainment are among the headliners that have performed at the First United Bank Center.

WTAMU Fieldhouse, aka "The Box"
Home of Lady Buff Volleyball
With the opening of the First United Bank Center in 2002, the WTAMU Fieldhouse was renovated to become one of a select few "volleyball-only" arenas in NCAA Division II. Seating just over 2,000, "The Box" provides fans an opportunity to virtually sit on the court and cheer on the perennial championship-contending Lady Buff volleyball team.

The Box has a long and rich history at WTAMU. Built in 1950, the Fieldhouse was the home of championship Buff & Lady Buff basketball for half a century. It has also seen its fair share of concerts and other entertainment, as performers such George Strait, Willie Nelson, John Denver, Ike & Tina Turner and comedian Steve Martin have played the Fieldhouse. President Gerald Ford delivered an address in The Box in 1976.

Potter County Memorial Stadium
Home of Buffalo Baseball
Home to the Buffalo Baseball team, Potter County Memorial stadium features a covered grandstand holding 7,000 fans. The cool season grasses do not go dormant resulting in great conditions even late in the fall, winter, and spring.

Joe Kerbel Weight Training Center
In 2001, WTAMU formally opened the Joe Kerbel Weight Training Center for the use of all the intercollegiate athletic teams at West Texas A&M. Named for the legendary football coach who led the Buffaloes in the 1960's, the center offers a full array of weight training equipment.

The center was funded through the generosity of dozens of former WT football players who played for Coach Kerbel.

Virgil Henson Activities Center
The 275,000 square foot Activities Center is available for use by all students at WTAMU including the intercollegiate athletic teams.

The Activities Center features a swimming area, weight and cardio training center, bowling lanes, racquetball and squash courts and 30,000 square foot all-purpose room for basketball, volleyball and other activities.
